Membership Classifications
Representative Appointments and Terms
Organizational leaders are responsible for appointing primary and alternate representatives (members) from their respective divisions. Representatives serve two-year terms, beginning in September.
Classifications
Class A
Members represent all divisions of the University. The number of seats per division is based on the full-time staff population in each unit and is verified biannually. Primary members have voting privileges, only.
Terms
Representatives may serve multiple terms, but no more than three consecutive two-year terms. After a break in service, they may be reappointed.
Class B
Class B representatives serve in an advisory (ex-officio) capacity and do not hold voting privileges.
Terms
Representatives may be reappointed indefinitely at the discretion of the appointing authority.
